Mother's Home Remedy Cabinet 3: A Great Yet Inexpensive Antiseptic

It costs a couple dollars at the store.  You probably already have some around the house.  It is good for strep throat (in severe cases, see your doctor), sterilizing cuts and scrapes without stinging, acne and other skin conditions, skin infections, ear infections, excess ear wax, and the list goes on and on.  The only negative is when gargled, it tastes like wet dog hair.  But you can get past that.  What is it?  Plain old household hydrogen peroxide.
